“ Awesome food, friendly service. If you have never tried cuban food you sure need to, and this is the spot. ”
“ I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. I’m glad I was near by tonight to grab some dinner. The chicken empanada, Cubano and Yuck was delicious! I can’t wait to go back. ”
“ Bg is lucky to have this little authentic spot! They have some of the best espresso drinks. Amazing pastries and are so kind. You can tell the food is made with love. ”
“ I found this place on Google close to where we visiting in Bowling Green and decided to try them out. The customer service was great and the food was prepared fresh. We loved the empanadas! Both the beef and chicken were well seasoned with a fluffy crust accompanied by some amazing cilantro sauce. In addition, my wife said the philly cheese steak was one of the best she ever had. I ordered the Cuban sandwich which was delicious. They give good portions so you get your money's worth. We will definitely be coming back here when we are in the area. Since our initial visit we have been by a few times we were in Bowling Green because these are the best empanadas we have ever eaten. ”
“ I finally got around to trying My Friends Cuban Cafe food truck. The staff was nice, and other patrons were too. Have to try a cuban sandwich to see how a Cuban restaurant rolls, and this one was good. I felt that the flavors didn't stand out as much as I would have liked, but it was a good sandwich. Sandwich was large as most are and enough for sharing. The price of the sandwich doesn't include fries to my surprise, so I unknowingly added a combo to my order with fries and a canned drink. The star of my meal was the beef empanada with the flaky crust that could have easily gone on an apple pie, but the meat filling was great. Fries were pretty good but not seasoned. A fairly pricey lunch at 20 plus dollars thus a few deducts for that as well. I will try again. ”
“ I brought my family here for dinner, and we got a Cubano, a chicken sandwich, empanadas, and yuca fries. The Cubano was very flavorful, and even though late in the day the bread tasted fairly fresh. The empanadas were delicious, with a lot of flavor. The yuca fries were a bit different since they were breaded - maybe it's preference but I like them without breading. The place is in a used car lot, the train went by when we were there, and it generally just wasn't a great environment for dining. The food was good though! ”
